Linn County’s Youth Wage Grant Program 2016
The Linn County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for the Small Business First-Time Employment Youth Wage Grant Program. The program sponsors small business owners with 35 or less employees who hire young people looking for their first jobs.
The county will reimburse businesses $2 per hour for hours worked from May 2 through September 30. Employers can hire 3 qualifying youth at a time for a maximum reimbursement of $3000 each.
