Women, Metals & Manufacturing Workshop Success
Sponsored by Pipeline, Linn-Benton Community College hosted it’s first Women, Metals & Manufacturing Workshop on April 22nd. The event was organized to encourage women to explore trades in manufacturing and skilled trades. LBCC welcomed about 40 girls from five mid-valley high schools to the workshop focused on welding, mechatronics, computer-aided design and drafting and other manufacturing skills.
