Metals & Manufacturing Day Recap
Metals & Manufacturing Day took place on Friday, January 18th at Linn-Benton Community College. A total of 52 students (45 women) from 8 area high schools explored potential CTE careers by taking part in interactive, hands-on workshops on Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD), Machine Tool Technology, Mechatronics, and Welding.
Students were able to attend 2 of the 4 sessions of their choice. After the first session in the morning, students had lunch and listened to presentations by Pipeline, LBCC CTE Ambassadors and representatives from OFD.
